In recognition of the profound significance of photojournalism, the IFPA Awards grant of USD 15,000 cash prize to the deserving winner, acknowledging their unwavering efforts in capturing and sharing essential stories. Independent and freelance photojournalists play a pivotal role in offering us a unique perspective on global events, taking us to places beyond our imagination and documenting the human experience in its rawest form.

As we honour the recipients of the IFPA, the ceremony also features images from some of the other entries into the award .Furthermore, we extend our invitation to both the winner and the runner-up of the 2023 IFPA to join us on stage, recognising their exceptional contributions to the field.
