Lars Boering is the founder of Triggertale.com, a platform for visual communication and storyteller. Prior to which he guided World Press Photo Foundation to become the platform for the stories that matter, he calls himself a photopreneur, he is an advisor on photography, teacher, collector and consultant. As an advisor, he is working together with several professional partners actively involved in the creative industries and advertising business. Together they add different opinions on and solutions to the projects and brands they work on.
Lars has been actively involved with photography for several years. As of 2015 he led World Press Photo Foundation and has transformed it into an organisation that is more than a contest. The mission has expanded and guides visual journalists, storytellers, and audiences around the world through this challenging and exciting landscape: a global platform connecting professionals and audiences through trustworthy visual journalism and storytelling.
As an advisor, he is working together with several professional partners actively involved in the creative industries and advertising business. Lars has co-produced exhibitions with photographers, Festivals, museums and art foundations and works as picture editor and judges contests at the highest level.
