Melody Mnisi – WSO Assistant Programme Leader & Safari Guide
Melody undertook the Wild Shots Outreach programme in 2022. She loved learning how to use a camera and capturing memories and stories. This catalysed her love for being in nature. With support from the WSO Bursary Programme, she has trained to become a safari guide, successfully completing her FGASA Level 1 guide training in May 2023. She is one of only a very few female black field guides in South Africa, and she is now guiding for Koru Camp, a non-profit educational eco-camp in the Greater Kruger Area.
