Mohammed Abdu Muhtasib is a distinguished Saudi photographer based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mohammed Abdu Muhtasib is devoted to capturing the essence of life, nature, and cultural identity through photography. With over 500 international awards across 30 countries, he has earned recognition from prestigious institutions such as the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts, the Photographic Society of America, and the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
His 2022 book, Stories of Light, showcases striking landscapes and human moments, and was presented to prominent Saudi figures, further establishing his national influence. Mohammed’s exhibitions have been held throughout Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, including Jeddah, Dubai, Kuwait, and Muscat. Among his most notable accolades are the 2025 National Award for Saudi Arabia from the Sony World Photography Awards and being ranked first in the Kingdom’s national photography ranking in 2024. Beyond his photographic work, Mohammed Abdu Muhtasib plays an active role in the cultural scene as a member of the Advisory Committee at the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah. He also holds memberships in global organizations such as the PSA, FIAP, the Global Photographic Union, and the Union of Arab Photographers. His contributions have earned him prestigious titles, including “FIAP Artist,” “ZEUS,” “Aphrodite,” and “Master of Photographic Excellence” (M.APS), reflecting both artistic excellence and global impact.
In 2024 and 2025, Mohammed led the “Memoria” solo exhibition and forum, with showings in Jeddah, Dubai, Kuwait, and Muscat.
