Sergey’s projects include shooting in the Russian Arctic, and he has worked extensively on the Chukchi Peninsula, Wrangel Island, the Taimyr Peninsula, the Putorana Plateau, Franz Josef Land, and the North Pole.

* Member of the jury of the contests “Wildlife of Russia” and “Golden Turtle”
* The Arctic Fox with an Egg photo was selected as the “face” of the WPY competition in 2017 and was included in the top 50 main wildlife images of 2018 by National Geographic.
* The photo of the Plosky Tolbachik volcano was included in the hundred best wildlife photos for 50 years according to the WPY competition.
* Photos of a tiger and a polar bear have been included in the top 100 for the last 60 years according to the WPY competition
* Sergey’s portfolio is included in the BBC book of stories of the best wildlife photographers of all time – “In the Wild. The Story of the World’s Greatest photography”
Today Sergey is busy with three projects about the wildlife of Russia: “The Russian Arctic”, “Taiga” and “Land of Big Cats”: – Sergey films the rarest large wild cats in the world – the Amur tiger and the Far Eastern leopard.
Sergey published 17 photo stories in the magazine “National Geographic” Russia 2004-2022.
