Gaspar Segura

With a background in advertising and feature film production, Gaspar has led teams of nearly 40 artists, overseeing the technical and artistic assembly of cinematics for Pokémon, Nintendo, and more. His unique ability to optimize workflows without compromising storytelling makes him an invaluable asset in delivering world-class animation.

Gaspar Segura is one of the co-founders of Firelight Animation Studio. Firelight is an international animation studio with branches in America, Latin America and Europe. Our headquarter is located in Panama City, and we also operate under AYMA FILMS LLC in Miami, FL.

Our core team consists of 10 dedicated professionals, typically managing 35 to 45 active artists. At its peak, Firelight has employed up to 83 workers, and we currently have 30 active international artists working on different projects. This is a sample of the work we do:

Our team of co-founders, directors and supervisors and lead artists has contributed their expertise to renowned companies and productions, including: Disney, RIOT Games, Blizzard, LVMH, Pokemon, Apple TV, Netflix, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, among others. One of Firelight’s most important directors is Brent Homman, former Animation Director at Walt Disney Feature Animation. Brent worked on blockbuster films like Bolt, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen 2, Raya and The Last Dragon, and Strange World. He served as Animation Supervisor on the Oscar winning Big Hero 6 and Oscar nominated Moana.
