Richard Glover

Glover’s photographic career began in the early 1990s in London, where he collaborated with prominent architects and designers. His portfolio includes work with important architects and designers such as Foster & Partners, Sheppard Robson, John Pawson and Ben Kelly. His photographs have been featured in influential publications such as Architectural Review, Blueprint and Domus. His keen eye for detail and ability to convey the narrative of architectural structuers and spaces have garnered international recognition.

Beyond his commercial work, Glover engages in personal projects that delve into the nuances of urban landscapes. His practice-led PhD research, “Sites of Uncertainty: Reframing Australian Architectural Photography,” examines the impacts of globalisation and urban development on Australian culture. This research highlights the dynamic relationship between public and private spaces, offering critical insights into the commodification within the built environment.

As an educator, Glover has developed and delivered specialised photography courses and workshops at universities, colleges and institutions internationally. His teaching philosophy emphasises the importance of visual storytelling in architectural practice, equipping students with the skills to produce compelling imagery that resonates with diverse audiences.
