Emirates Photography Society

Driven by the valuable trust extended to us by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his continuous support for our activities, the Emirates Photographic Society was founded in 2008.

The Society fosters all creative talents in photography, professionals, amateurs, and novices alike. It also officially represents the UAE in the field of photography at local, Arab, regional, and international forums and events. The Society’s main objective is to support photographers navigating their lenses in search of remarkable images, to transfer technical knowledge in photography, and to highlight the art and history of photography as well as its future developments.

The Emirates Photographic Society seeks to attract, foster, support, and sponsor photographers of all proficiency levels, involve them in all photography activities, workshops and trainings, in addition to participating in photography events and exhibitions as an integral part of supporting photography and encouraging creative photographers.

The Emirates Photographic Society is organizing its Eighth annual exhibition, which includes various works of photography depicting nature, people's lives, and abstraction. The exhibition represents an opportunity to attract photography lovers by showcasing 50 artworks of Society members from among UAE’s citizens and residents.
