Anush Babajanyan

Photography gives depth to the stories I photograph - water, land, women, survival, resilience. It allows me to return again and again to the same people and places and understand them anew. It’s my way of showing that stories don’t end, they evolve.

Armenian photographer Anush Babajanyan is a VII Photo contributing photographer and a National Geographic Explorer. Anush is based between Munich, Germany and Yerevan, Armenia.

Anush focuses her work on social narratives and personal stories. She works extensively in the South Caucasus and continues to photograph in Central Asia and around the world.
