آيتن ميرزويفا

Ayten Mirzoyeva is a partner at Vasconi Architectes International, working across Paris and Luxembourg at the intersection of architecture, culture, and creative production. Her practice focuses on how space, narrative, and audience experience intersect within cultural venues, festivals, and public programmes.

Alongside her work in architecture, she serves as a cultural producer, using soft diplomacy to connect institutions, artists, and audiences across film, music, performance, and visual art.

Mirzoyevas work frequently operates within film adjacent environments where architecture, cinema, and live cultural programming converge. Her involvement with the Venice Biennale and Venice Film Festival spans curatorial direction, spatial design, and the production of multidisciplinary programmes that shape how stories are experienced beyond the screen.

She has collaborated with UNESCO and the International Union of Architects on forums exploring post crisis reconstruction and cultural narrative, including the Rise from the Ashes initiative presented in Venice in September 2021. These projects examine how visual culture, memory, and place contribute to recovery, identity, and international dialogue, positioning her firmly within broader conversations around storytelling and soft power.

Mirzoyevas collaborations extend into immersive and cinematic storytelling. She has worked with internationally recognised artists, including Krista Kim on the Mars House project, and with Steinway and Sons, creating environments that blend hospitality, music, film, and digital art. She curated a dedicated island programme during the Architectural Biennale in Venice, integrating works by artists such as Rody Rahme, Krista Kim, and Hedva Ser.

Her work during the Venice Film Festival has included performances with world-renowned musicians and Steinway artists, reinforcing the relationship between architecture, sound, and cinematic experience. In Azerbaijan, she is developing an International Cultural Hub for emerging talent, alongside leading the restoration of the National Opera of Baku and the long-term Gandja City Master Plan. Across these initiatives, she treats space as an active storytelling medium that supports film, performance, and international cultural exchange.
