Maitha Hamdan is an Emirati conceptual artist and cultural creative consultant working across art direction, brand storytelling, and public facing creative programmes. She serves as Creative Director and Cultural Creative Consultant at Playground Studio, shaping concepts from early research through to final visual execution. Her practice connects contemporary Emirati narratives with design led production, often bridging cultural commissions and commercial campaigns. She has worked with leading local and international institutions, bringing a clear, modern voice to regional identity and representation.
Hamdan’s work is concept first, building a strong narrative framework before translating it into visual language, tone, and audience experience. She operates comfortably across campaigns, exhibitions, and institutional projects, aligning creative ambition with practical delivery, stakeholder needs, and cultural sensitivity.
Her collaborations include Google, the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 and Expo Osaka 2025, HSBC Bank, Sephora, and the Federal Youth Authority. Across these projects, she contributes creative direction that is grounded in place, contemporary in form, and built for real-world visibility, whether the output is public-facing cultural content or brand communication.
