Siraj Jhaveri stands as one of the industry’s most versatile directors, masterfully blending traditional storytelling with cutting-edge technology across a remarkable three-decade career. A Fine Art graduate from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, he first captured international attention with his poignant documentary “Ma Baap,” which brought to life his parents’ dramatic elopement during Mumbai’s religious tensions of the 1960s. This early triumph catalyzed his trajectory to MTV’s On-Air Promotions department in New York, where his groundbreaking work led him to launch MTV India, securing both a Cannes nomination and India’s coveted Brand of the Year award.
His distinctive directorial approach has attracted an extraordinary portfolio of global and Middle Eastern powerhouses, including Citibank, Coca-Cola, du Telecom, Etisalat, HSBC, Mubadala, and many different ministries throughout the UAE Government. A pioneer in Virtual Production, he harnesses Unreal Engine technology to create immersive environments that revolutionize storytelling. His innovative vision earned him the Silver Dolphin at the 2017 Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards. Currently orchestrating his global productions from New York and Dubai, Jhaveri continues pushing the boundaries of creative storytelling through technological innovation.
