Photo Humanity Grant, offers photography grants and is part of PhotoGrant company, a non-profit limited liability company based in Kuwait.
About:
Hunger, ignorance, pandemics, war, genocide – these are compelling catalysts that cannot be ignored. They have led to the organization of humanitarian efforts through international institutions and organizations to address and find solutions for them. Additionally, they have served as a profound source of inspiration for photographers who courageously confront challenges to document these pressing issues. In appreciation of the ongoing remarkable efforts, we established the Photo Humanity Grant as a contribution to raising awareness, and to encourage a broader spectrum of photographers.
Our Mission:
To offer support and opportunities to photographers aiming to utilize their lenses, accompanied by mindful perspectives, to document human stories and photographic projects that spotlight global human needs.
Our Commitment:
Offering a dedicated grant for humanitarian work while focusing on raising awareness and showcasing impactful projects across various mediums.
History:
The first grant was awarded to photographers inside Gaza to document life under war conditions since October 7th 2023. Ten photographers from Gaza, who submitted photographic projects, received the grant.
