Road to Xposure
The Union of Arab Photographers returns again by its participation in Xposure2024 through its Arab Exhibition that includes a selection of Arab photographers’ works, who came to the heart of Sharjah, which hosts important international events.
338 photographers presented 941 photos to the jury chosen by the UAP’s Board of Directors to choose the best photos for this Exhibition.
108 works were chosen to be included in the Exhibition’s Annual Book, among which 30 works will be displayed to the festival visitors“from28/2 - 05/03/2024 at Expo Sharjah.
The"Road to Xposure" is the title chosen for this version in order to give the opportunity for Arab photographers to choose their favourite works taken from all spheres of life that are full of beautiful things in the world of photography.
In conclusion, the UAP, as it continues its artistic and cultural journey with confidence and steadiness, derives this from the continuing support of the main supporter of these events, H.H Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
We also extend our thanks to H.H Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council, for providing wide spaces to all creators of light to contribute to their inspiring light productions. We further extend our thanks to His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of Sharjah Government Media Bureau, and his team after they worked day and night in order to contribute to this amazing success.
