Stenin International Press Photo Contest
The annual Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest is pleased to present an exhibition featuring the winning entries. Stenin International Press Photo Contest is an annual competition for young photojournalists aged between 18 and 33 years old. It aims to support young photographers, allow them to make a name for themselves on the world photojournalism stage and draw public attention to the challenges of photojournalism today. It is the best international platform in Russia to discover new photojournalists – talented and sensitive individuals open to all things new and to highlight people and events near us. The 2024 winners represent 10 countries – Bangladesh, The United Kingdom, Spain, India, Italy, China, Myanmar, Russia, Syria and South Africa. The 2024 shortlist for the first time includes pictures by young photojournalists from Myanmar. Traditionally, the contestants have been judged by experts from major global media outlets and award-winning photographers.
