Drew Gibson
Drew Gibson is a professional motorsport photographer based in London, England. With over 18 years of experience, he has covered a wide range of motorsport disciplines, including Formula One, World Rally, Formula E, and historic racing. However, he is best known for his creative and dramatic endurance and sportscar racing work. His distinctive style has earned him collaborations with leading manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Porsche, Ferrari, Ford, and Bentley and assignments for prominent motoring publications worldwide.
After studying photography at university, Drew moved from the North of England to London for a placement with F1 Racing magazine. Following a successful six-month trial, he secured a full-time position and began contributing photography to LAT Photographic alongside his editorial role. In 2007, he joined LAT Photographic full-time, covering national championships such as Formula Three and British GT. Drew turned freelance in 2012 and quickly established himself as one of the world’s leading motorsport photographers. A four-time winner of the Guild of Motoring Writers Photographer of the Year award, he continues to produce striking imagery for top-tier clients in motorsport across the globe.
Drew’s creative and artistic signature images have seen him work with many major clients in F1, Formula E, and World Rally. However, Drew is best known for his work in endurance racing, where he has worked with most of the top manufacturers to capture dramatic photography at races such as the Le Mans 24 Hours, Dubai 24 Hours, Bathurst 12 Hours, Spa 24 Hours, and Daytona 24 Hours.
