Named one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business,” Julieanne Kost is the Principal Digital Imaging Evangelist at Adobe, responsible for fostering relationships with customers through meaningful and inspirational Photoshop and Lightroom instruction. As highly sought-after speaker in the photography industry, Julieanne is well known for her unique approach to instruction, infusing practical tips and tricks with an equal amount of humor and creativity that keeps audiences entertained and engaged.

Her digital illustrations explore imaginary worlds derived from her dreams, her study of psychology and abnormal behavior, and interpretations of the written word. Julieanne’s more traditional landscape work is the result of her travels where she has the opportunity to connect, document, and share her vison of the natural world.

Julieanne has presented and demonstrated a wide variety of digital imaging techniques and workflow solutions to Adobe’s top customers from the entertainment, advertising, and photographic industries to specialized markets including law enforcement, science, and medicine. She has created and published more than a thousand instructional videos for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, has taught at hundreds of events in over 25 countries, and lectured at over 30 distinguished photography, art, and design schools. Her Photoshop training on LinkedIn Learning has been viewed by millions of people around the world.

Julieanne started her career at Adobe in technical support in1992 and is currently the Principal Digital Imaging Evangelist, responsible for fostering relationships with customers through meaningful and inspirational Photoshop and Lightroom instruction. For her outstanding service and contributions to the photographic industry, she received the Chuck Westfall Technical Education award from the Lucie Foundation, the Gerhard Bakker and Warren Motts International Service awards from the Professional Photographers of America, and was granted the title of Honorary Educational Associate and received the International Award for her significant contributions to Professional Photography as an Art and a Science from the American Society of Photographers. She was inducted to the Photoshop Hall of Fame in 2004 and has been a member of the Cameracraftsmen of America since 2007.
