Natasha Forcade Gómez is a Cuban visual artist with a diverse background in art and collaboration. With an academic formation that spans from engineering in Automatic Control Systems to a Master’s in Innovation Management, Natasha has developed a solid foundation for her work in photography and the visual arts. Currently, she is a student of Visual Arts at the Visual Arts Faculty of the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA). She has participated in various photography courses and workshops at the Havana Photography Creative School, allowing her to develop her skills and style in visual art creation. Natasha has participated in several collective exhibitions and has received notable awards in photography competitions. Her work has been recognized in international events and she has collaborated with various institutions and companies.
Throughout her career, Natasha has demonstrated a keen eye for capturing the essence of her subjects, from the beauty of Cuban landscapes to the intricacies of human relationships. Her work has been showcased in various exhibitions, including “Prisma.7 Lumen” at the ArteMorfosis Gallery and “Llegar a fin de mes” at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba. She has also received awards, such as the first prize at the XXIX Salon of Erotic Art and the Germán Puig Award at the Sixth Edition of the Photography Salon of the Body. In addition to her exhibitions and awards,Natasha has collaborated with various institutions and companies. She has worked as a contributor to the heritage magazine “Memorias de la Ciudad” and has participated in international projects such as the International Photo Project in Milan, Italy. Her work has also been published in magazines and books, including “The Footprint of Portugal in Cuba” and “Cutting Edge Art in Havana, 100 Cuban Artists”. Her commitment to artistic creation and her ability to connect with diverse audiences have allowed her to develop a wide range of projects and collaborations.
