In May 2003, Simon Thomas set off on an epic global motorcycling adventure that would span 17 years and cover an astonishing 507,000 miles across six continents. His journey is marked by extraordinary challenges, including surviving a broken neck in the Amazon, facing gunfire in Russia, and navigating 36 of the world’s most demanding deserts. Throughout this odyssey, Simon has documented his experiences through photography and videography, capturing both the raw beauty and harsh realities of life around the globe.

Simon and his wife, Lisa, have embraced life’s unpredictability on the road. The couple has experienced everything from running out of water and squinting at hallucinations to repairing their motorbike with scrap aeroplane parts and dining with Maasai warriors. Their unwavering love and support for each other have been the foundation of their extraordinary journey.
